“Jack the Ripper” as a presentation topic
“Jack the Ripper is a pseudonym given to an unidentified serial killer active in the largely impoverished Whitechapel area and adjacent districts of London in late 1888.”
I decided to do my presentation about Jack the Ripper.I will label it “Jack the Ripper(”From Hell”)”
The reason for my arbitration is the fact that I have always been interested in such dark stories and legends.Jack the Ripper already fascinated me when I was just 6 years old.
The resources for my work will first of all be the internet(obviously (: ) and the movie “From Hell”.Perhaps I will inform myself if there is some book,worth to be read for this topic.
In my presentation,I will focus on several killings and myths about the murderer and its victims.Possibly,I will find some theories about the identity of the murderer.A few information about the background of the middle of the 19st century will be given,as well.
My presentation will unfortunately be without powerpoint,as I don’t have this program on my computer.I hope I will be able to show my blog to the class,so that I can post some information there,instead.To make my project look interesting,I will show one or two sequences of the movie “From Hell”. I could talk about the facts and show pictures from my blog.

it was a great pleasure to listen to your presentation! I think you knew a lot about your topic and you didn’t have to read out your notes or something.
Jack the Ripper is also a huge subject and I think you included a lot of aspects about him into your work. So, well done!

Your presentation was well structured and you talked freely about your topic which is – by the way – a really interesting topic. All in all, I’ve learned some new necessary things about Jack the Ripper I didn’t know before. Good work!

I liked your topic, because slaughter is something interesting. it creeps you out and so you draw attention.
Also, you have a nice way of presenting your topic: you talk freely and fluent and if you need to, you talk with hands and feet.
Your presentation was well-structured and you gave us all the most important information and many things I didn’t know before.
I noticed an “interesting” thing about the Jill the Ripper theory:
I guess you still remember the band “Jack off Jill”.. that name goes down to a poem called “Jack and Jill”. I think the name “Jill the Ripper” also has it’s origin in the poem, as a female pendant to Jack.
I know, this is useless knowledge, but I like it anyways
